Bengaluru’s start-up company Ultraviolette Automotive has unveiled its electric bike Ultraviolette F77. Bike onroad price starts from Rs 3 lakh to Rs 3.25 lakh.
It is the first performance-oriented motorcycle to be launched in India. The company has also started its online registration.
Powering the Ultraviolette F77 electric bike is a 25kW electric motor which is capable of generating 90Nm of torque. Accelerate 0-60kmph within 3 seconds, indicating that its performance will be going to compete with entry-level sporty petrol-powered motorcycles.
The 4.2kWh battery pack offers a range from 130km to 150km. Ultraviolette has enabled DC fast-charging feature, so that battery pack can be charge upto 80 percent within 50 minutes.
The Ultraviolette F77 electric bike has dual-channel ABS standard and has 17-inch wheels. The bike gets several advanced features, including a full-color TFT screen with Bluetooth connectivity, a dedicated app for over-the-air updates, bike locator and ride analysis features.
The Ultraviolette F77 features a trellis frame and tips the scale at 158kg (kerb). It comes equipped with a USD fork at the front and a monoshock at the rear. Braking hardware consists of Hydraulic disc brake with dual-channel Antilock Brake System (ABS).
